Core Team Members

Boris Tadić

AB DAO Moderator

Responsible for reviewing community proposals and ensuring their legal and regulatory compliance
Oversees the vetting of key community nodes and specific roles (such as regional community managers)

Basic Information:

Born in Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia (now Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Served as President of Serbia from 2004 to 2012, elected for two consecutive terms.
Member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (Demokratska Stranka, DS).

Major Achievements:

Led Serbia’s bid for EU membership, securing candidate status in 2012.
Improved diplomatic relations with Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other Balkan states, fostering regional stability.
Despite Kosovo’s 2008 declaration of independence, he pursued diplomatic measures to safeguard Serbia’s national interests.

Social Impact:

Remained active in international politics after leaving office, attempting to restructure the Democratic Party and forming his own political group.

Moneef R. Zou'bi

Basic Information:

Born in Amman, Jordan, Dr. Zou’bi holds degrees in civil engineering and science policy from the University of Brighton, Loughborough University (UK), and the University of Malaya (Malaysia). His academic background spans engineering, sustainability, and science diplomacy.
He currently serves as Science Advisor to the InterAction Council (IAC), a global think tank of former world leaders. He was previously Director General of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS), where he played a pivotal role in expanding its international presence. Since 2024, he has served as Vice Chair and Board Member of ARSCO (Arab Science and Community Organization, based in Qatar). He is also a visiting professor at UCSI University and the University of Malaya.

Dr. Zou’bi is a member of several international bodies, including the New York Academy of Sciences, the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), and the UNESCO Centre for South-South Cooperation in Science and Technology. He is a founding board member of the World Sustainability Forum (Santa Fe, USA) and has served on the Templeton Prize jury since 2018. He is widely recognized for his efforts in fostering intercultural dialogue and advancing the global science-for-society agenda.
