AB Universal Transfer Protocol (UTP)

The Universal Transfer Protocol (UTP) is a general protocol designed within the AB ecosystem specifically for on-chain asset transfers. It aims to simplify the operational process of on-chain assets, lower the threshold for user participation, and enhance the accessibility and liquidity of assets.

UTP introduces a mechanism where users can pay transaction fees using assets recognized by the protocol, eliminating the dependence on native tokens. Through standardized transfer processes, UTP provides a more seamless, convenient, and secure experience for on-chain asset transfers.

Gasless Transfer Experience

Users can initiate asset transfers on the AB Core chain without holding AB tokens. The gas costs are covered by assets supported by the protocol.

Pay Fees with Recognized Assets

The UTP protocol allows the use of certified assets (such as stablecoins like USDT, USDC) to pay transaction fees. Before initiating a transaction, users authorize the deduction of the corresponding amount of recognized assets, and the protocol handles the payment of the underlying chain's gas fees, simplifying user operations and enhancing the experience.

Free Inter-Chain and Cross-Chain Transfers

UTP supports sending standard-compliant assets from the AB Core chain directly to any supported public blockchain address. The protocol layer abstracts the complexity between chains, achieving true free flow of assets across chains.

Lowering Barriers and Enhancing Asset Liquidity

By removing the dependence on native tokens and optimizing the fee mechanism, UTP lowers the threshold for users to participate in on-chain asset transfers, encouraging more frequent asset circulation between different chains and promoting the activity and application scenarios of blockchain ecosystem assets.

Begin Building

New Organizations and Collaborations AB's technical framework consists of the foundational technology layer, the super exchange protocol layer, and the application layer. All AB products will first be deployed to the NewChain testnet for public testing before official release. Technical documentation provides developers with comprehensive development guides.
